As a long-time fan of fantasy and books, I was very excited to take on the challenge of creating a cover for my own title. This project involved researching and developing character concepts as well as story settings, exploring trends in the book industry for my audience and genre, and composing a combination of illustration and design to tell a story that will draw readers in. The final project was an illustrated dust cover jacket and a two-page interior spread.
